Arithmetic

You take a bunch of this on top of this:

And you add in this with a little bit of this:

 And you get this:

 And this:

Just another casualty of the Blizzard(s) of 2010.

I love you, honey! And can I say how glad I am that I wasn't the one that tried to get in the car when it was still frozen?

**Don't forget to poke your head into BlogTrotting today! We're visiting somewhere where they know a thing or two about snow.

Let me stress that my husband was not drunk nor had he been drinking when he broke the car handle. It was all his fault, let none of the blame fall on poor innocent beer.

  1. Was it really necessary to throw the man under the bus?

On the other hand, in my mind's eye, I can JUST see this.

  2. Lol! I KNOW you are thinking that you are glad it was Neil and not you :)

We have been having casualties here too, and it IS fun to laugh about it after, but I swear during the moment (say..11:30 at night when your stuck in a snow bank and your post surgury husband is at the wheel((cause he can't push you know)) and you and your 2 older kids are in the snow PUSHING the back of the van inhaling fumes, and your 16 yo looks over at you and says...haven't we already done this this week ((hence the couch insadence :) ) it isn't fun at all! Good thing it because funny almost immediatly once say you get feeling back in your feet!

This definitly won't be a winter we forget!~

  3. LMAO!! I'm hear you! If I had done something like that then I would never hear the end of it, but it's okay for S.

I don't even want to know how much an itty bitty handle costs to replace. Ouch.

  5. WOW, that's cold. My kids pulled my door handle off and it wasn't even frozen shut. It's a toyota model, I wonder if I can get them to repair it as part of the gas pedal recall???Hmmm?

  7. Every time I start to feel sorry for myself with this sucky snowy winter we are having, I think of you and the gazillion feet of snow you have. Then I feel guilty. Then I go eat. Then I look out the window at the nine more inches of snow falling down, dreading my drive into work tonight, and I feel sorry for myself all over again.

    Sigh.

Maybe another LOST episode will make it all better. Spring is just around the corner, right?

    Right?

  10. Are you saying that the beer had something to do with it?? Was that the driver's side handle?

I was thinking about you as I wrote up my own snow post today. I pale by comparison!

  12. I had to climb through the passenger door of my first car for about 2 years after I did the same thing to the door handle. Good memories...

  15. Ha! That is the exact thing I was warned about as I yanked and pulled on my own car handle, and I said "Nah, that'll never happen!" I guess I stand corrected.

  16. Oh, man! For reals? I am so sorry. If this is the worst outcome from the blizzard, though, I guess it's not too bad.
