Except When I'm Hungry

I walked over to my husband a little bit ago as he sat at the computer in our "office." I was heading up to the kitchen and I offered to grab something for him. He asked for another piece of cake* and a soda. I trotted off and returned a few minutes later with the requested items. I leaned over to give him a kiss and told him I loved him.

He responded: I love you, hunny bunny, always sunny.

Me: Yeah, I'm not always sunny.

Him: You are always sunny. Except in the morning...and when you're hungry.

Which, if my math is correct, works out to about 14 minutes of sunny a day. He's a lucky guy.

*I made a yellow cake with chocolate icing for our Valentines dinner. Who me? Diet? Bah. That's why I joined the gym.

  2. Very funny. I think I'm generally sunny too, except for in the mornings and when I'm hungry.

  3. Who is sunny when they're tired or hungry??

However, Neil is obviously a smart man to not "see" anything but the sunny YOU. =)

  4. Yellow cake with chocolate icing is Scott's favoritest cake in the world. He would say you are the sunniest person in the world. Just for this.

p.s. It's not even 9 am and I've already been sending out You Tube videos of Starbuck and Leoben getting it on amongst the paint. Here we are, years later...and now I'm thinking that might have meant something more than a booty call. Girl...4 left...I'm dying...

  7. I used to be good in the morning, but that's when I got to sleep through the night. I'm also not sunny after about 8 or 9 pm these days. So I think that leaves my husband with about 14 minutes, too...
