They Don't Call Them Toddlers For Nothing

Her first skinned knee. If she's anything like her mother, which there is every indication she is, she has many, many years of skinned knees ahead of her.

  1. I skinned my knee YESTERDAY. And I didn't even get a cool bandaid!

  2. You know you're a mom when all the band-aids in your house are of cartoon characters.

Srsly. The only band-aids we have here are Disney Princess, Winnie the Pooh, Hannah Montana and Littlest Pet Shop. OK, Hannah Montana isn't a cartoon character... but, still.

  3. Um--her dress and sandals are ADORABLE. The band-aid is just an added accessory.

Yesterday Caroline asked for a Backyardigans band-aid on her ankle. When I asked, "Do you have a boo-boo?" she replied, "I just want it to look at it." She's nothing if not honest.

  5. We had out first last month. Now that we have bare legs in summer, it's going to happen a lot, I bet.

  13. Ah, yes. Ever since Fly learned to walk, there has been some kind of scratch or bruise on at least one leg. Seriously. He inherited my klutz gene.

  14. Aw...Poor thing.
That's great she made it this far without skinning her knee though. I think my daughter did it as soon as she was semi-mobile.

  15. I have graduated from skinned knees to purpley-yellow-blood filled bruised knees.

I just might be the world's biggest spaz...
