Summer is so into those books! We just have to be careful with the peekaboo flap book because she gets a little carried away and rips them off. Oh well...what else isn't distroyed in this house~
Oooh, that's one that gets dragged around here a lot. I'm getting a little tired of making animal sounds, but I waited so long for N. to be interested in books, I guess I can't complain.
"So yeah, the touch and learn is cool, but have you discovered the ones with pages that smell? I'll share mine with you while our moms are watching that one show about toasters, which I still don't understand. And maybe after we're through reading we can have yogurt and get out some play dough. Deal? Fun!" --Caroline
We have those same books and they are a hit in my house and a big source of fighting. Tell the Bean that she is lucky she doesn't have to share..... yet.
Sheila - Yes, it is a miniature recliner. It actually reclines and the footrest comes up. It was a Christmas gift from my sister in law. It's a little big for her yet, but she can get in and out just fine.
What a cute pic of your angel! We have that book and both of the kids just loved it. Of course, Cohen loves just about any book he can get his hands on and Addi LOVES the touch and feel books!
Xander has that book and likes it a lot, but he is O.B.S.E.E.S.S.E.D. with Brown Bear Brown Bear right now. He was even saying it in his sleep the other night!!
We had that book! I love the chair--does she need a little ladder to get up there? It looks like her feet must be so far from the floor! LOL
ReplyDeleteI wish Peanut would let me read to her. I start to and she tells me "No!" and shuts the book. 'Peanut PhD' is not in her future.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the look on Bean's face ... :)

ReplyDeleteSeriously, the Bean is so freakin adorable. Every time I see a picture of her she makes me smile, even when it's a cranky pic.
ReplyDeleteShe's got her priorities straight!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute photo! Such a cute chair! And we totally have that same book!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the eTrade commercial! Interactive book are by far the best. How many times has she made you read that one?
ReplyDeleteShe gets right to the good stuff.
